Travertine is a type of stone that belongs to the limestone family. Travertine is used ins and floors and in entryways, bathrooms ands. Before using, it is important to seal thes, as travertine is porous. If the tile is not sealed, any liquid could leak into the tile, causing discoloration and damage. Proper care and cleaning will extend the life of the and enhance its natural beauty. Well, here we will introduce types of cleaning:
 
One is for the daily cleaning. The first step is to glide over the floor daily with a dust mop or microfiber mop. The second step is to clean up spills immediately with a dry rag or cloth to completely dry the area. Do not allow liquid to sit on the naturally porous tile. At last, clean up any spots or sticky areas with a dish cloth dipped in warm water. Wipe dry.
 
Another one is for the heavy cleaning. Apply a neutral pH-balanced floor cleaner or stone soap. Follow the directions on the package to mix the correct amount of floor cleaner with water in a mop bucket; Mop the floor with the cleaning solution. Wring the mop so it is damp and does not soak the floor; Scrub the grout, using a soft-bristled brush. Dip the brush in the floor cleaner and gently rub the brush into the grout to clean it; Rinse the mop bucket and the mop. Fill the mop bucket with warm water. Mop over the floor with the plain warm water to remove any leftover soap; Dry the floor, using a dry towel or rag to eliminate any sitting water or streaks and prevent water spots.
