Marble slabs are used in many areas of the home, from tables to countertop and kitchen worktops. Since food and other elements typically are in contact with the marble on a regular basis, you must clean the marble slab regularly. You should use a mild cleaner that keeps the marble intact and undamaged while also being strong enough to kill bacteria.

Instructions as follows:

Firstly, dust the marble slab with a dry cloth or sponge, and wipe with a damp cloth or sponge if needed to remove residue that a dry cloth alone cannot remove.

Secondly, spray stone soap over the marble slab on occasion, and again wipe off with a damp sponge and dry with a dishtowel.

Thirdly, mix 1 tsp dish soap and 3 cups warm water in a spray bottle to provide a more thorough cleaning every 3 to 4 months.

Fourthly, spray the soapy water over the entire marble slab, and wipe off with a damp dishcloth.

Fifthly, dry the marble slab with a clean dishtowel

Tips and warnings

Clean up spills immediately, especially acidic substances, such as juices, which can etch the marble.
